I am doing a mortuary drive by……

Hello everyone, or the five or six of you. Things continue to go really well. I had a wonderful weekend, and started to read my non-fiction book. Who am I? I read non-fiction, listen to
K-LUV and have almost stopped swearing. I do not mean I am perfect BUT heck, I might even vote Democratic. I hope my family does not read that statement. I am just kind of tired of it ALL. I say that we fire ALL of the senators!! We shorten the term limits and re-vote. Can we do that? Sounds good, I think.

So, where were we in the story? I was going over the different types of sentences and saying them aloud. I actually thing the students in the first two row crapped their pants when I gave the example for exclamatory. Their little eyes popped open so wide. I believe the kiddos thought they had heard me raise my voice before, well I showed them. Even though language arts is challenging the students still connect with me. I went into another teachers class the other day and was just standing in the back watching for a couple minutes. I was about to leave when I heard one girl tell the other, quietly, that I was one of her favorite teachers. Isn’t that cute? It is SO my fault that it took this long to become a teacher. I actually went back for my education degree after my father died. I quit the program when I got the job at the design company. Hind sight is so clear.

So, anybody want to recommend a book for me? Or a movie they have rented lately? I just saw Driving Lessons last night. I like me the English movies, and for some reason Laura Linney. They had the right ideas, but bad execution. I really liked the music in the background.

Sorry, no pictures of the mustache!! I have got some comments. One teacher asked what I was doing with that “Thing” on my face. He said I could blend right in ….. oh yeah, my work here is done. I will try to get a pic before it gets crazy looking.

Oh yeah, I think I will be starting piano lesson next week!! I asked a teacher and she said yup - for free!!
