Don't you love when a conversation starts like that?? We should get together later and have the LDS talk. As the two of us sat there looking around at the people that were trying not to watch us. I felt like Mulder, when the smoking man would come out of nowhere. Well, I have found my gang. A couple guys that have been thrown together for being nonbelievers. Lord, how did I get here?? It is pretty funny. I had a lady make an off the cuff remark about asking for forgiveness and I shot back the God I pray to is laughing right now because he knows me and I make Him smile.
Thing continue to move along. I do not have a phone right now, hopefully by the weekend. Qwest is trying to make me angry. So, email or write. I got my first letter yesterday, from the Postal Service. I should have a working phone by Monday at the latest, or Oct. 6th if things do not go my way. I will still have the same number.
I think the hair is coming off. I need to put just a little healthy fear into some of these kids. It is shocking. I actually think that I will be up and running with lesson plans, unit plans and hand outs by Oct.5 That makes me happy.
I watch dvds on the computer, 1st seasons of L&O Criminal Intent, Seinfeld and Northern Exposure. I know, the good life.
This art teacher thing is pretty funny stuff. I enjoy painting and I can draw if I put my mind to it for a while BUT man I do fast contour line drawings on the board for these kids and they are amazed. I tell them that if they paid what I have for school I better be able to draw better then others at Pictionary!!
