What a day. If I had anything else to do, I would be doing it. I forgot to pack the TV - boo. OK, so here is what I remember.....
I taught the first class of the day, but thought I was going to team teach to get used to it before I took over. That teacher was so happy to inform me that she was not going to be in the room. Three students were added today, which should add to the level of fun. When I found myself still alive after the bell rang I bumped into a group of other teachers, one said that I was taking her fourth hour class. I guess everyone was going to be playing dump on the new guy. I was ready. I said it was nice to meet her, BUT unless she was the principal I did not have a fourth hour on my schedule today. I went on to find out that the lady in the office wanted to hand over my whole schedule TODAY! I told her that I just got my class room, I just set the new tables up, I still can not get onto my computer AND I have NO art supplies. I said if she wanted to give me the classes I would be playing the game of "Put Your Head On The Desk Until I Turn The Lights Back On" They laughed, I said "What, you have never heard of that game"
Yes, my grammar and spelling might improve - we shall see.
Got all of my paper work finished at the district office, and even went and got my finger prints done. Met a nice lady cop. I asked my usual questions. The bank turned my check into cash, so sweet. The post office will have my keys ready tomorrow. Start the letter writing people!! Because Me so lonely. I think I might need to buy a fishing poll.
The other night I went to Target to feel like I was at home. I started to joke around with another lady there, but I started to laugh on my own when every time I ran into her in the store she had another kid with her. Yikes!!
So far this is the first place in my life where someone does not know anybody that I know, or am related to.
I had photos for you today, but where did they go???
I love this. I really feel great about coming out here. This should be a great year, for the students and for me. Oh yeah, they saw the tats today. One class wanted to talk about them and I told them possibly at a later time.
Homecoming this weekend in Rigby - GO TROJANS!!!!
A correction from yesterday - it is called Bowl-ero.

I think you should make up a story about the tattoos that includes pirates, biker gangs and a greenhouse (to explain all the foliage, of course). OR, you could make info about them a reward for good behavior... like, "you guys can ask me one question about my tattoos at the end of each day if nobody acts like a little Idahoan punk." Thanks for the update... find the pictures! :)
